Lesson 2- shutter speeds

Here are my pics for lesson 2.

Picture 1 is of a stream. Shutter speed was 1/15sec and camera was on a tripod. A little photshop work on pic to saturate colors.

I liked what Jodie did with the water and the apple (she illustrated it in lesson 2) so I tried it. Below are the pics. They were both taken at 1/500 sec shutter speed with flash and I used macro setting (1-3 inches from subject). I did a little editing in photoshop.. some cropping and saturating color).

I looked at them thoroughly and I have to say " bravo" ! Nice job. You have an inate control for lighting.

I think your first apple photo was great. How did you set up the lighting? Very impressive.
