My photography began way back in 1963 or so and for many years I used my trusty Pentax Spotmatic with Ektachrome 64ASA film (remember the days of loading film into a camera?), photographing British wild orchids and other flowers. I am still searching for a good method of getting these slides converted to jpgs for publication, but the colour shifts are criminal! I live in Norfolk, possibly the most beautiful county in England. The majority of my photographs are published here 'as taken', not changed in any way - I leave this to you, the downloader. If you decide to use any of my work please let me know where, believe me it is nice to receive a simple 'Thank You'. One of the best 'Thank You' messages I have received was from a lady who used my photo of crocus blooms on a home made 'Get Well' card for her sick mother. Mum was thrilled with the photo - I was thrilled to hear I could bring a bit of happiness.
